Managing Director, KEO-Infrastructure

Neels brings nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, specializing in infrastructure related projects and an international resume of managing complex infrastructure projects across Africa, Australia and the Middle East. His experience includes proficiency in both pre-construction and construction phase management, being well versed in the full cycle of project delivery. His professional career thus far underscores his outstanding leadership skills, team building philosophy and total commitment to excellence.

In his 10-year career with KEO, in very senior positions in the delivery of major infrastructure related projects in both the government and private sectors, Neels has proven himself to be an outstanding leader with a reputation for excellence. His vast knowledge in the infrastructure field and leadership skills were exerted heavily on some of KEO’s most iconic projects in various GCC countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

In his new role, Neels has full responsibility for the management of the Infrastructure Division, developing its strategic direction, enhancing project delivery as well as fostering our client relationships. He will also be a full member of KEO’s Executive Leadership Board (ELB) and member of the Direct Leadership Management Board (DLM).

Neels has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and a Graduate Diploma in Ornithology from Charles Sturt University in Australia.
