The Al Bustan Palace Hotel, set on a one kilometer private beach with acres of lush gardens, is noted for its 38-meter high domed atrium lobby. It was built in 1985 to host the GCC Summit. It has 200 guestrooms and 50 luxurious suites, and all rooms are air-conditioned and have private balconies. In addition, there are five outdoor swimming pools, including a 50-meter long infinity pool, a spa and health club, tennis courts, a business center, five restaurants, and high-end retail outlets.
KEO was the Project and Construction Manager for the renovation of the Al Bustan Palace Hotel. The project involved the comprehensive renovation of the interiors and additional services. This included the renovation of guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, the spa and health club, and mechanical, electrical and safety systems. In addition to refurbishment of the Al Bustan Palace interior, considerable external renovation was applied to the general landscaping, as well as to the provision of a new beachfront.
