KEO is providing Programme Management Services to Fluor Middle East, Qatar, the program management consultant that has been hired by Public Works Authority Ashgal to supervise construction of the $5 Billion Santiago Calatrava designed program. Dubbed by Ashgal as “one of the most ambitious engineering projects ever undertaken in the Middle East”, Sharq Crossing will be capable of handling 32,000 vehicles an hour, and consists of three architecturally significant bridges, that will transform Doha’s coastline and 8 kilometers of immersed tube tunnels connecting the bridges.
