The Kharafi Residential Tower is a 16 storey luxury apartment building housing 38, one, two, three and four bed roomed units. The Tower was given a pronounced “Islamic/Spanish” character with a number of traditional design features, as emphasized in the client’s specifications. The form of the building was inspired by the Al Hambra in Granada and its location, facing the sea, allowed the design to incorporate a 6 floor Grand Entrance Arch. This raises the building to maximize the views of the coast road and the Arabian Gulf. This feature and the use of other traditional design elements, give a unique appearance to the structure, echoing the Arabian past - yet providing a modern living environment.
