KEO designed a four-pitch cricket ground of world championship standard, with a main stadium capable of seating 20,000 spectators. Half of the seating in the stadium is shaded and there are additional private VIP boxes which are positioned some distance from the public areas. The clubhouse pavilion is envisaged as a “Palace for Sports” and stands 3 storeys high, with a ground level zone for the main entrance, reception rotunda, cafeteria, members lounge, administration offices and access to the grandstands.
The complex is irrigated from a large water reservoir which has a striking feature at the center – a thirty meter high fountain. It also includes a cricket training school, reception tents, practice grounds and parking for 1,500 vehicles.
