Najmat Abu Dhabi is an urban waterside community development project located southeast of the entrance to Al Reem Island. Occupying around 20 percent of Al Reem Island, it is spread over 1.49 million square meters of land and houses around 80,000 residents. The buildings have a mixture of traditional Arabian and contemporary architecture, and are accompanied by schools, health facilities, public parks, and modern public transport systems.

55 percent of the land in Najmat is dedicated to open spaces, public parks, children’s playgrounds, and shaded walkways. It also has three marinas, which are linked by a canal which travels through the development from northwest to southeast. The Bay Center Marina, which is the largest of the three, is the business, entertainment, and retail hub of the development, with two 80 storey buildings at its heart. The Najmat Al Reem Island Mall and Condominiums Project occupies the front portion of Al Reem Island, directly on the seafront. It is located just minutes away from Downtown Abu Dhabi. The project is a best-in-class urban development featuring one of the largest malls in the region, offices, residential hotels and mixed-use buildings.
