Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City is a 7 star world class medical center of excellence consisting of over a half million sq. m. It is the second biggest healthcare development in the Middle East valued at over a $1 Billion. This state of the art healthcare complex includes modern hospitals, therapeutic facilities and medical staff residential buildings. It will also include the National Health Authority’s headquarter offices and a tunnel road access to the complex.
Phase I involved the core and shell construction of four hospital towers and accommodation for 2,800 nurses.
Phase II involves the fitting out of approximately 195,000 sq. m of total floor area. The scope of work entails the supervision of the following: all floor, wall and ceiling finishes, the installation of mechanical and electrical building services including power distribution, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, life, safety and security systems, escalators and elevators, water and the distribution of medical gasses.
